Defending the Defenseless
Sonday Life family shelter services provides guidance and support for families afflicted with domestic violence, abandonment, tragedy, or financial crisis. We are called as believers in Christ to provide shelter and support for those who are in need (James 2:15-16). We will support justice for the helpless and safety for the unprotected just as our Father has encouraged us to do through his Word and Spirit (Zechariah 7:9-10)
Providing Shelter in Time of need
Sonday Life family shelter services answer the Psalmist’s call in Psalm 82:3-4 which says, “Give justice to the weak and fatherless; maintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” Our ministry to families who are weak, afflicted, destitute, and in need is to work with organizations and ministries that can help lift them out of crisis and establish a safe respite from their circumstances.
